Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using PriceWatch (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

PriceWatch monitors product URLs you submit and emails you when the listed price changes. Price data is fetched from publicly accessible pages and is provided "as is." We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, availability, or timeliness.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) and able to enter a binding contract.

4. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
• Do not attempt to overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Do not resell or sublicense the Service without written permission.
• Do not submit URLs that require login, contain malware, or violate the source site's terms.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled. You may cancel anytime from your billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

7. Third-party stores

PriceWatch is not affiliated with Amazon, Temu, DSW, Simon.ca, or any retailer. Listed prices, currencies, availability, and final transactions are governed by the retailer. We are not responsible for purchases you make.

8. Intellectual property

We retain all rights to the Service. You retain ownership of the data you submit and grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service for you.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that price alerts will be timely, accurate, or uninterrupted.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR CAD $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING MISSED DEALS OR LOST SAVINGS.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time for breach of these Terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using and delete your account at any time.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be brought exclusively in the courts of Ontario.
